Popular World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star, Paul Levesque, better known as “Triple H” has called it the end of the road as he quit professional wrestling, Connectley Naija News gathered.
On Friday, Triple H made the announcement during a media session with American media personality, Stephen A. Smith.
Connectley Naija News learned that during the media session, the 53-year-old wrestler was forced to retire from the combat sport due to cardiac arrest he suffered last September.
As part of his statement:
“As far as in-ring, which I get a lot, I’m done.
“I will never wrestle again. First of all, I have a defibrillator in my chest, and it’s not a good idea for me to get zapped on live TV.”
Triple H WWE Brief record
Connectley Naija News recalls Triple H made his professional wrestling debut in 1995.
He’s a five-time world heavyweight champion, a five-time WWE Intercontinental champion, and the winner of two Royal Rumble matches.
The 2019 fight against Randy Orton in Saudi Arabia was the last time he took to the ring.
