At least twelve people have been burnt to death in an accident along the Ilorin-Ogbomosho road in Kwara State.

Six passengers who survived the accident sustained varying degrees of injuries.

According to Daily Trust, an eyewitness said the driver of the bus was over speeding while plying one-way.

The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps ,FRSC, Kwara State, Jonathan Owoade, who confirmed the development attributed the cause of the accident to speeding limit and route violations and loss of control.
