Spain 3-1 Kosovo: Torres scores again as Spain see off Kosovo

Wednesday night presented us with the final batch of UEFA World Cup qualifiers before we return to domestic matters.

Here’s what went down before Spain versus Kosovo in the Euro Qualifiers.

La Roja went in front courtesy of a lovely curling effort from Dani Olmo 11 minutes before time, Connectley News gathered.

And two minutes later they doubled their advantage when Pedri found Ferran Torres, and the Manchester City man rattled in his second goal in as many games.

The visitors then pulled one back when Spain goalkeeper Unai Simón was robbed of possession by Besar Halimi, who then chipped in from distance.

But Spain soon went 3-1 up, with substitute Gerard Moreno flicking Koke’s corner past Kosovo goalkeeper Samir Ujkani.

Scorers: Olmo 34′, Ferran Torres 36′, Gerard Moreno 75′; Halimi 70′
