Serie A: Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick gives Juventus victory against Cagliari

Since Friday and the revelations by Spanish daily for possible return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid, the Portuguese international has been at the heart of the news.

This Sunday Cristiano Ronaldo and his team went to Cagliari on behalf of the 27th day of Serie A. And in Sardinia, the former Real Madrid player decided to send a clear message to the field by scoring a hat-trick during the victory of Juventus (3-1).

After the first goal around 10 minutes of the game, Cristiano Ronaldo doubled with a penalty in the 25th minutes of the match, before seeing triple a few moments later (32nd).

In the second half, Simeone reduced the gap (61st) but that did not change anything. On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo could not have ended the match for a very high foot on the opposing goalkeeper, Cragno, but the referee only issued a warning (14th).

With this success, Juventus is one point behind AC Milan (2nd) and ten from Inter Milan, who’s at the top of the Serie A table. Cagliari is now in seventeenth position.
