Absent for almost three months, Eden Hazard has never been so close to a return to the lawns! The Belgian international who arrived at Real Madrid last summer will only have participated in 13 games this season, Liga and Champions League combined, the fault of a foot crack contracted against Paris Saint-Germain by Thomas Meunier.
Today, at a press conference, Zinedine Zidane announced that the Belgian striker was again operational.
“With him, the team can count on a very great player and the time has come for him to find the team. If he trains with us and he feels good he will be there (against Manchester City, February 26), but of course it has been three months since he played. Physically, he’s ready to play with us,” said the French coach.
Eden Hazard has two matches left to try to grab a place in the first eleven who will face the City in the knockout stages of the Champions League: tomorrow with the reception of Celta de Vigo and next Saturday when from Real Madrid to Levante.
