During the last winter transfer window, Layvin Kurzawa was very close to leaving Paris Saint-Germain. At the end of the contract next June with the club of the capital, the French international was first announced on the side of Arsenal before seeing his name included in an exchange between him and Mattia De Sciglio (27 years) with the Juventus. But the deal finally turned around and the two players therefore remained in their respective clubs.
Interviewed by TMW Radio , Giovanni Branchini, the agent for the Italian side, returned on Tuesday to this episode: “at the beginning, we were not so satisfied with this hypothesis. PSG has been pushing for this exchange for a long time, and when Juve said they had reached an agreement, we accepted. Then Juventus informed us that they had to review the terms of the agreement, which we took note of, because De Sciglio had never asked to be sold, being happy there .”
PSG has therefore not succeeded in separating from Kurzawa, who will leave free next summer after having been bought for 25M € at AS Monaco, in August 2015.
