The Director General of the National Power Training Institute, Mallam Bolaji Nagode has lauded the appointment of the Nigeria’s former External Affairs Minister, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari as the new Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Nagode in a statement issued on Saturday described the appointment of a renowned technocrat and a Professor of Political Science as timely and a right peg in the right hole considering this critical period that the Country is cementing it’s international relations.

He believed that the Ilorin-born newly appointed CoS would use his wealth of experience as former Ambassador and Minister to discharge his official duty inline with the Change mantra of the Present APC led administration.

He therefore thanked President Buhari for appointing Professor Gambari as his new Chief of Staff and felicitated with his immediate family, especially, Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari CFR, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and entire people of Kwara State on the appointment of an Ilorin born Professor of International repute.

He expressed confidence that the new Cos will see his appointment as a call to serve the Country and use his vast experience to make positive impact towards the growth and development of our beloved Country.
