N’Golo Kanté quickly substituted due to injury during the clash between Chelsea and Manchester United on Monday evening in the Premier League (26th day).
Already deprived of Emerson, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham for the hosting of the Red Devils at Stamford Bridge, Frank Lampard lost his midfielder N’Golo Kanté after 10 minutes of the match.
The French international couldn’t continue the match, visibly affected in the left thigh.
“It’s very worrying what we see there,” said Stéphane, the commentator of Canal + Sport, while the Blues will face Tottenham on Saturday in the league, but especially Bayern next week in 8th final leg of the Champions League.
The French team of Didier Deschamps, meanwhile, resumed at the end of March with friendly matches against Ukraine and Finland, at Stade de France and Parc OL respectively.
The Blues are forced into an early change as Kante looks to have taken a knock. Mount is called into action from the bench.
