Manchester City travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton for a place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola has been speaking to the press ahead of the game.
Pep Guardiola on the Champions League draw
“Is what it is, in two weeks we’ll face them.
“We are privileged to be in last eight.
“I didn’t see much this season – we don’t have time to watch other competitions but this international break we’ll have chance.
“Dortmund are a real good team.
“In two weeks I could answer better because I didn’t see much.
“Dortmund have experience, Witsel, Gueirro, Sancho, Reyna, they invest in good young players with wages and salaries for agents.
“They have a lot of quality. They beat Sevilla who are in one of the best knockout teams.”
Pep Guardiola on Erling Haaland
“The numbers speak for itself.
“One of the best strikers i the world at his age.
“I saw a few games, the highlights, the numbers are impressive. I know the quality of this player, everybody knows.
(When asked if he was interested in signing him)
“He’s a player from Dortmund.
“I don’t like when people talk about our players. You understand I cannot answer this question.”
Pep on facing Everton in the FA Cup
“Every competition, it’s a knockout game.
“We won once, semis twice, it’s not bad.
“I’m not saying we didn’t take it seriously, we know how important it is in this country.
“Quarter finals, Everton away, will be tough.
“We were there last month, it’s tough, Bernardo (Silva) and Riyad (Mahrez) helped us. (Dominic) Calvert-Lewin is back.
“Hopefully we can finish well and start the important part of the season.”
Guardiola on Everton’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti
“He’s managed the best clubs in the world.
“Has been everywhere and always had success.
“People talk about him, as a person, when he takes care of me when I start when I visited him at Milan, how gentle he is.
“I saw one or two training sessions in Milan. He was so kind, we spoke a little. Nothing special but when people take care of others he is one of the good guys.
“I admire him a lot.”
