This Saturday afternoon, Chelsea traveled to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton for a friendly match.
The opportunity for Frank Lampard to establish two of his new recruits, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner. Note that for this meeting, N’Golo Kanté wore the captain’s armband with the Blues.
Although the London club may not win (1-1) the match, but Timo Werner has already been particularly distinguished since the German striker only needed four minutes to score his first goal in his new colors.
Very promising for Lampard and his troops who will clearly aim for the title next season in the Premier League.
Our early goal, courtesy of @TimoWerner, was cancelled out by a late Brighton penalty, so it ends in a draw. 🤝
An important run-out for a lot of the boys! 💪 pic.twitter.com/sNEMoXkkqo
