Considered one of the best Championship players of the past season, English attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze has signed until 2025 with Crystal Palace.
This 22-year-old right-handed attacking midfielder, born in London, is coming out of an XXL season with the Queens Park Rangers.
Eberechi Eze scored 14 goals and delivered 8 assists in 46 Championship games played. Able to evolve in number 10 or on one side, Eze is renowned for his qualities of dribbling and speed.
According to Sky Sports, it cost Crystal Palace 17.8 million euros. QPR also negotiated 4.4 million bonuses as well as 20% on a resale.
“Eberechi is a player whose development we have been following closely. We are delighted that he chose to sign for us rather than for the other clubs who were interested and we believe it is the right club to allow him to continue to grow,” said Steve Parish, chairman of the Eagles, who finished 14th in the Premier League last season.
