Bayern Munich is getting closer and closer to Leroy Sané (24, Manchester City). An agreement has been reached with the player, and negotiations have already started.
Today, the Bundesliga seems to be the closest European championship to resume activity, since the date of May 15 has been targeted by the German football authorities for recovery. The clubs have already resumed training for a month for some, and everything suggests that German supporters will see football again this season, even if it will be from their living room.
But behind the scenes, we are already working on next season. It’s no secret that Bayern Munich intends to live an eventful summer, and has already launched major projects. Alphonso Davies and Thiago Alcantara thus extended their contract, while Manuel Neuer should follow. In the sense of arrivals, Dayot Upamecano should not ultimately land in Bavaria this summer, but the Munich residents have been reaching their goal for their big goal for years already: Leroy Sané.
Bayern towards a good deal
This is in any case what the daily Bild asserts on Tuesday evening. The German international would have found an agreement with the champion of his country, around a five-year contract, after refusing the different approaches to Manchester City. But above all, we learn that the discussions are progressing well. Bayern Munich would have launched negotiations around 40 million euros, and their counterparts in Mancun could accept a proposal that would be between 50 and 60 million euros.
The Bavarian club intends to rely on the fact that the player’s contract expires in 2021 to obtain a nice discount, since it was not so long ago, we were talking about three-digit amounts for the German. Everything therefore suggests that Bayern Munich is holding its new galactic, and it’s probably not over since Timo Werner (RB Leipzig) may well be next. It remains to be seen how the former Schalke 04 will return after his serious knee injury last August which kept him away from the field all season.
