A new setback. The Barca footballer, Ansu Fati, could go through the operating room again to clean up the injury to the internal meniscus of his left knee.
The decision will be made between the club’s medical services and the player in the next 48 hours, after the Guinean striker stopped his recovery last week because the joint did not evolve as it should.
In any case, this is a hard blow, for the club but especially for the player, who at just 18 could accumulate three interventions on the same knee in four months.
As happened in early February, the recovery of Ansu Fati has once again slowed down because it did not follow the development marked by medical services.
Ansu Fati was injured in November against Real Betis and underwent surgery – at the time the prognosis of recovery was four months, that is, he had to return to the routine of the first team this March – but he had to operated again in February because the evolution was not good, which is what has happened again now. This new setback makes the player worried, this is a fact, but at the same time he has the peace of mind and the desire to continue working, of not setting deadlines for return and of having enough patience to make the right decision with medical services to deal with the current scenario.
A case similar to that of Coutinho
The bad news coming from Ansu’s environment is in addition to that of Barça midfielder Philippe Coutinho , who traveled to Qatar a few days ago to assess the status of his injury – also on – and that in final had to be operated on again, after undergoing surgery in January 2.
In the case of both Coutinho and Ansu Fati – if he finally has to undergo a third operation – both players could miss the rest of the season due to their respective injuries to their left knee.
