3 unwanted players Tottenham wants to kick out

Tottenham want to part ways with three unwanted players during this summer transfer window. Among them is Tanguy Ndombele.

Tottenham is coming off a disappointing season to say the least. After reaching the Champions League final in the spring of 2019, Londoners were logically expected at the turn, both in the Premier League and on the European stage.

But the season ended with a sixth place on the league table and took the exit in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League against RB Leipzig. Remember that, Mauricio Pochettino dismissed as the coach of the team, and replaced by José Mourinho.

A disappointing season, therefore, the Special One and his club are now hoping to clean up the workforce to quickly find the Champions League.

Several British publications, such as The Sun, claim that several players in the English capital’s team are being pushed towards the exit.

This is the case of Tanguy Ndombélé, yet the most expensive recruit in the history of the club (around € 70 million) just a year ago.

Considered disappointing, the tricolor midfielder had already been pinned down several times by his coach in public.

The newspaper explains that the Portuguese tactician had even organized individual sessions for the former OL, getting involved in order to make him the player he wanted to see, but without success.

Serge Aurier is also unwanted

Among the two other players who are put on the transfer list, we find Serge Aurier, who is also popular with clubs such as AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen, after three unconvincing seasons in London.

As we explained to you recently and exclusively on NaijaNews247, several big European teams like PSG, FC Barcelona and Bayern are interested in him, rather as part of a loan.

Finally, the Argentine defender Juan Foyth has never really managed to win and is also asked to pack his bags in the coming days. Leeds United would be on the spot.

Departures which should generate other arrivals after that of the side Matt Doherty concluded this weekend.
